Ultimate Time Savior. Sweepy, the name I’ve given my Lefant, has been a wonderful addition to our family. The dogs were initially startled by Sweepy’s dedication towards collecting their fur and have now become adjusted to this reliable robo’s routine. All I have to do is set him free and I can go about the rest of my day knowing that he’ll have collected all the unwanted particles on the floor, doing the necessary work that I prefer to shy away from. In a way, we make the perfect team when tackling household chores. He doesn’t mind going under tables and chairs to do the cleaning and I don’t mind wiping down kitchen counters. All I have to do is ensure Sweepy’s batteries are changed and dust compartment empty!

What did I ever do before my Roomba ? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of all things irobot. Before getting the j7 (which I named Rosie), I had the Roomba 891 and the mop (both which I have also loved). The j7 is a whole new ballgame. This little robot is a powerhouse. It has a long run time, maps the rooms to learn where the obstacles are, goes easily from my rugs and carpets to my hardwoods, has crazy suction power and then best of all- empties itself! I have a small dog in the house and was even surprised when it learned where I laid the puppy pad in our laundry room and now doesn’t go near it (my past model would have just sucked that puppy pad right up, resulting in an error message). The J7 (Rosie) is quiet except for when it empties itself out. It startled me the first time it did so. It’s so quiet that you forget it’s running but when it does back on the dock to empty out, it sounds like a jet is on the runway in your house! lol This isn’t enough for me not to still love my robot but I had thought I could run it at night but now see that I can’t because of the loudness when it empties. The home base has little bags inside similar to old fashion vacuum cleaner bags that fill up and you just throw the bag/trash away. It came with 2 bags and I have already ordered more for when they get full. The j7 set up easily in my app along with my other roomba’s. I used the app to send it back to the home base very easily. The j7 has a much longer run time than my previous roomba and another great feature is that when the j7 gets low on battery, it takes itself back to the home base. I have a lot of furniture and stairs in my home and the j7 has navigated all of this with ease. The funny thing is that I dont know exactly how much it’s sucking up because I dont actually see the trash now. In my older model, I had to clean the bin out so I saw exactly how much was getting cleaned out (which is oddly very satisfying) but with the j7, since it empties out into the bag (the bag is not see through), you know it is sucking up lint, dirt ect but you don’t get the “oh wow” factor of seeing exactly how many dust bunnies were under the bed. I would give the j7 a 4.5 starts out of 5 – only taking off al little because of the loudness of the empty out process. I really don’t know how I did it before I had the Roomba and I have told my family and friends they don’t know what they are missing without one! Worth every penny!

What a time saver!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so incredibly excited to receive the iRobot j7+ to review. I have wanted a robot vacuum for a long time and this one doesn’t disappoint! It cleans my large house effectively and saves me so much time. It’s a little noisy, especially when it empties itself, but that is a small annoyance compared to the amount of work this little guy saves me. I love that you can set a schedule right from your phone so that the vacuum automatically runs. The self empty feature is great and the bags seem to be large enough to last and are inexpensive to replace. I like that the camera is located on the front of the machine. This seems to allow for better obstacle avoidance. I really can’t think of a negative thing to say about this little machine. I just absolute love it! It would be nice if it was a tad quieter, but still 100% worth that minor annoyance. I haven’t tried on carpet yet but it works fantastic on ceramic tile.

Affordable and efficient vacuum cleaner. It works smoothly on both carpet and wood. My apartment floor is made of wood and we have carpets as well. It can automatically clean both surface efficiently. It can be controlled using a remote controller which is included with the package. It can also be used using iphone app. The suction power is quite satisfactory and can pull hair from the carpet. The sensors are working properly. It charge automatically when out of battery which is amazing. I am good with the price too.

If you have pets you’ll love it. Long story short my son-in-law moved in with us recently and I saw the box when we were moving his stuff but it was another brand more expensive and I said can I try it? He said shure and I was sold the thing his was kind of expensive so I researched and I came across this one and I’m very happy I did bought it and I’m using it every day.

Not worth it. Bought this specifically bc I have dogs. Leaves so much hair behind! Called and was told I need to clean spindles of “brushes” every time. No matter how diligent I am or if I make smaller areas, it will not pick up hair. It’s become worthless after 8mo.

It exceeds my expectations. I’ve been an owner many years of a 690 Roomba and the J7+ is a quantum leap. It’s fun to watch as you see the learning process and how it avoids things like my dogs, power cords and other items in its path. The roller brush system stays very clean and its much more efficient than the old brush system. I find it easy to clean and maintain. No more light towers like the old units. It maps your home and allows you to draw room boundaries, name your rooms and choose what rooms you are going to clean. I have a beagle/dachshund that sheds big time and again the improvement in technology is wonderful. No more dog hair! The self empty feature is wonderful and it’s interesting that when the dirt container in the J7 fills, it scamper back quietly to its base and empties itself. Then amazingly it scampers right back to the spot it was cleaning and resumes finishing the cleaning. Same thing happens if the battery goes low. It scampers back to its dock and you get a message from the app that it is recharging with an estimate as to how long it will be before it resumes cleaning. Because it knows how much cleaning is left, you don’t have to wait for a full charge too. I love that after it completes the map of your home shows the obstacles if any, that it encountered. Additionally you get pictures of obstacles and you can let the J7 know if those were temporary obstacles, or whether you want it to avoid that obstacle in the future. It’s funny to see a picture of my dog laying down in its path. I notice that now if it gets in the path of my dog it will stop before hitting the dog, and turn another direction. It’s quiet too. Much quieter than my old 690. My dogs pretty much ignore it as it moves along the floor. Also noticeable is that it will turn off the vacuum motor when it is traveling to specific rooms or when it is returning to its base. Fit and finish is good and yes it does not run over wires or cords or doggie droppings!

Finally! Robot vacuum cleaners that work! Finally after over five years of studying and reviewing robot vacuum cleaners, they have come of age. This particular vacuum cleaner does everything I’ve always expected from a robot vacuum cleaner. The app is intuitive and very complete. The LiDAR does an extremely good job of mapping the home and the learning algorithms do a great job of efficiently cleaning. I definitely recommend the Roborock Q7max+

Doubting No More! I am so impressed with this little guy. Once it does the mapping, without the vacuum, you just give it “no go” zones and away he goes.
I have not yet tried the mopping, but I’m sure it’ll work great.
I have it programmed to clean the kitchen every day and the rest of the first floor and the kitchen on the alternate days. We live near a beach so sand is an issue, but no more! I have 7 grandchildren so anxious to have them visit to see how that goes.

Does not avoid pet waste. The vacuum states that it would avoid pet waste. Got home from work this afternoon to find the pet waste was all through our home, also covered the whole bottom of the vacuum, I received the vacuum on October 28, 2023. I have contacted the company to see if they will stand behind the product

First Robot Vacuum purchase! First time buying a robot vacuum. So far I’ve been impressed with the overall performance of the Roborock Q7 Max+.
To be honest, the Black Friday sale price influenced my purchase, and so far I have no major regrets. The previous reviews also helped with my decision to go with this model. Only thing I wish I could have understood better was the obstacle option the difference models have to offer. I will definitely upgrade in the future to a model with the Reactive 3D obstacle avoidance system , but in the meantime I’m enjoying my first Roborock vacuum.

It doesn’t do what us supposed to do. I bought this product a few years ago. I bought this specifically because it was supposed to avoid “obstacles” and pet messes. It never has avoided the messes. It goes through it causing me more cleaning than need be. I had moved recently making my elder cat bot use her box, and at least once a week, I have to thoroughly clean the robot and shampoo the carpets and clean the floors throughout the house since I don’t notice until I get home after work. This is my my replacement since it has done it before to a point of not charging or running. The feces gets stuck in the tires which are impossible to clean. So it smells like literal crap every time it runs. I do the maintenance and change everything as I should, but it’s higher maintenance than doing it the old way. Avoid this contraption if you are intrigued because it avoids messes.

Excellent product. I haven’t had a vacuum robot since the original. I am totally impressed with this. My foyer is clean all of the time now. My husband never learned to wipe his feet before entering. I love this device. You can break your house up into areas on the map. It does a nice job!

High quality and great performance. A little trouble getting it connected to the Wi-Fi, but they support was very good and solved the problem quickly. Have had it a week. Looking forward to see how long it performs well. I have noticed Roomba’s don’t last that long and hoping this one last longer.

Great vacuum with one major flaw. Love it. Super helpful. Wish you could empty the bags though. I mean that’s crazy wasteful. But other than that it’s great.

Great tool for maintenance (80/20). Excellent vacuum – saves me time and enjoyable to operate. We have 800 square feet in a dusty city, we have a dog who sheds so we need to vacuum at least 2-3 times per week. The Q7 does the perfect job on MOST of our floor so that I only have to do unreachable spots (I have a high-pile rug and some furniture that it can’t get around). I run it 2-3 times a week and do my touch up (where it can’t reach) 1 time per week. I estimate it saves me an hour a week and it’s excellent at picking up all our hair (our dog’s and our own).

I don’t have the automatic emptying bin – I empty it myself (every 3 runs or so / I have to rinse and dry the mop cloth anyway) rather than have a giant dock with disposable bags (not environmentally sustainable, custom/not universal bags, extra cost).

Mop function is fine – I think it does a passable job, but since it takes the same cloth over the 500 wood floor with one pass only, I gather it’s mainly just doing a superficial wipe – better than nothing; good to have but not the selling point for me and I would prob just do vacuum next time.

App is relatively intuitive and makes the robot vac enjoyable to operate. My only complaint is the pin-and-go spot clean feature doesn’t really work…

After 5 month is not working! After 5 month of buying this item is not working properly, I checked the brush , everything looks fine, from out side , but still spinning around in the same place is not working properly. I call Walmart services because I bought the 3 years insurance and and Walmart just told me that the insurance is not with them, they also said that is a mechanical issue and that I have to contact the Manufacturer to get some help, the number that they gave me is wrong.

not worth the price. has a very hard time cleaning a very small easy area. mop is dirty and just spritz around dirt. machine constantly gets lost or stuck in very simple areas. for a brand new machine it seems to have a lot of problems finding its home or pausing and then unpausing and finishing the job it started.

MY SMALL HELPER. My new helper, I waited a few months before writing this review, and it’s all I needed, it works great, I can say there’s no more dog’s hair on my floor and that makes me the happiest grandma since my granddaughters are here almost everyday, I am loving it!
And it has a hepa filter to like it even more.

Not charging. I bought this as a replacement for one I had to send out to get repaired and was stolen from my mail room when it came back. I wanted to give Eufy another chance. I got it today and product came defective out of the box. It’s giving me a battery error. I can’t even get help from customer service because they are not available on Sunday. Thank goodness I didn’t gift this for Christmas. Go with another brand. I was not able to connect the app on my phone to my device because the vac was screaming there was a battery error. I can’t say anything on suction because it’s not charging.

The Liectroux G7 Robot Vacuum Cleaner has exceeded my expectations. The laser navigation ensures thorough cleaning of my home, and the impressive 180-minute runtime is truly remarkable. I also appreciate that it can vacuum both dry and wet. It’s a fantastic product that I would recommend to anyone!

as soon as i took it out of yhe box i get an error s1 battery not functioning notification that wont stop no matter how many times i try to reset it. have not even been able to test to see if it works and when you call customer support no one is there to answer!

Buy one! Love this thing. This is my second one and I couldn’t be happier. His name is George Jr. and he goes off every day except Saturday. (That’s his day off). My carpet stays clean and he isn’t too loud

I Came Back to Stay. I had a Roborock S5 for a number of years and just loved it. Last year we needed another vacuum for our house. I cheaped out and bought another brand. I was so disappointed. It got stuck constantly, did crazy things like spin around in circles, and almost never finished the whole house successfully. So this year I did the right thing and bought the Roborock Q7.

I am so happy with this purchase. This vacuum works just as good as the S5, even better. It cleans the house in a logical order, never gets stuck, is easy to empty and maintain, and above all cleans the floors as well as a hand vacuum. I love this machine. I will never buy any other robot Vacuum than a Roborock again.
