Burnt. This isn’t a composter. More likely useful to make smaller garbage. It really dehydrates and almost burns your leavings. Also took forever, even tho’ I stopped it and drained out some liquid. I imagine all the good stuff I want for composting was burnt out.

It’s a small bucket but does the job. Works well. Food comes out as dried pre compost you can store away without worry. Bucket is really small so don’t expect to use it on family meals. Really a one person deal. But it’s good. Need to buy new filters every so often apparently but that’s nothing too major and maybe it can be modded to use cheaper filters. So def check this out.

Died After Three Uses. I couldn’t tell you how well the compost turned out since I didn’t even get one bucket full before the motor just died and I had to return it. I was looking forward to using this a lot, too.

Fun to use overnight composter. I keep the bucket out on the counter as my compost bucket and cover it with a reusable silicone cover. I keep the large unit in a cabinet until I need (a couple times a week). I like the way I can turn it on overnight, dump the contents into a bucket to then add to my garden later, and then put the larger unit away. I would not like this unit if I didn’t have the space to keep the unit stored away as it is large to keep on the counter. It is a good looking unit though.

Fast compost. I’ve been looking for a fast compost solution for kitchen scraps for some time. This machine basically dries, cooks, and chops the scraps. I can toss it right into my garden.

One of the most annoying things for me personally with composting is the bin or container on my counter always attracts/is a breeding ground for fruit flies! With the vego lid it prevents fruit flies from accumulating so you can easily control the number of them in your kitchen! I love using the app as well! It’s so fun to track your cycles and see how much food scraps or waste you are turning into nutrients for your garden! It’s so easy to lift the inside bin to then take to your garden! Please help. I think the little pins that are supposed to click into place became bent.

Long run huge savings. Didn’t realize how much trash bags I’ve wasted until I got this little trash saver. I originally purchased it to get some nice soil for my small vego garden beds. What I’ve found is much more. I take out the pail while I prep dinner, and use it as my pail to throw my scraps in. Vegetable and fruit peelings, cores, lettuce scrapes,
Banana peels and egg shells, I’ve never realized how much waste I have. Makes me feel good to be not only saving trash bags from the earth, but to get such amazing soil is also great. I feel my indoor plants with it.

So glad I got one! My city doesn’t have curbside composting, and my yard isn’t suitable for a compost pile, but i have a garden that needs the compost. This unit is the perfect size to take my vegetable scraps and turn them into something beneficial. It has worked great since I got it. The unit is sturdy, and stylish enough to have on my counter.
