This camera system is impressive. Make sure to purchase enough cameras initially, as you’ll likely want more later. It’s very easy to set up and has no monthly fees. I recommend getting the eufy solar panel charger for each camera so you won’t have to worry about charging the battery. This is the best camera system I’ve ever had, and it offers outstanding night vision.

I am currently enjoying the features and the quick response time of the notifications.

I purchased two of these cameras due to some concerning activity near my home during the late night hours. To be cautious, I ordered one and quickly set it up in my backyard upon arrival. On the second night of having the camera, I caught someone trespassing in my fenced yard and was able to scare them off. I believe they understood the warning when they heard the alarm and saw me approaching. I’m really pleased that I had the camera to notify me and capture the incident.

I have 8 Eufy cameras, with 6 outdoors and 2 indoors. When the lawn service comes (the timing is unpredictable), I either have to snooze each camera individually or disable the entire system to avoid constant notifications. I’ve asked Eufy multiple times for a “Snooze All” button in the app, but they have yet to add this simple feature. Instead, I’m now receiving annoying pop-up ads for their new doorbell camera right within the security app. It seems the Eufy programmers are too focused on advertising to address valuable customer requests. Buyer beware!

Setup is straightforward, and the cameras are simple to install. The picture quality is excellent both during the day and at night, and the motion sensors perform effectively. I only wish there was a way to access the events stored on the home base from my desktop. Aside from that, it’s definitely worth the price.

Great cameras. Installation wasn’t bad, you need an ethernet port for the Homebase unit. These are rechargeable battery powered, so they need to be charged ahead of time. You’ll need some kind of drill for the mounts, push the anchors in, screw the mount into place. Each comes with a mount hole template. Setup was fairly simple, read the instructions, download the app, follow the steps in the app. So far, they’ve been good cameras, great resolution, fairly stable when you have a strong wifi signal. The Homebase stores clips internally, so no cloud storage fees. Each camera has a small spotlight on it but it’s a little dimmer than I’d like and doesn’t light a very large radius.
There are a couple of cons I’ve found: The wind blowing trees or bushes is enough to trigger the motion alert, cars passing at night also, I had to restart the system once because every time I looked at a new motion event I heard what sounded like a car backfiring or something, I checked and it wasn’t an actual sound outside. I noticed the microphone on the camera isn’t very good and couldn’t even capture my conversation with my neighbor from a few feet away. I would have really liked some way to protect the front of the camera from rain, etc. It says 180 day battery, but I highly doubt that will be accurate without ideal conditions. Overall, I still really like these cameras and I would recommend them.

Basic but good. works good, need more zoom optical or digital

Promising product but horrendous battery life. The cameras have a decent image in either day or night. There is a slight stutter but it’s not too noticeable. It also work phenomenally well with HomeKit. They are easy to pair and add to your Home app including automations.

On to the dealbreakers:

Battery life is atrocious and to add insult to injury the micro USB standard for charging is even more atrocious. The product literature says 6 months but I am usually getting days of battery. This is with as much of activity and notifications turned off and night light turned off. To make it worse, charging is usually 8 hours from empty to full on each camera. These numbers are unacceptable. I cannot be taking a ladder and removing cameras out of service for 8 hours each to charge. I would not recommend based on poor battery life.

I am moving on to something else that is wired. This was kind of a disaster.

Great price when bundled together. A nice camera that interfaces well with the 300 series Home base. Excellent range. Good solar charging. Very good night vision illumination.

Works well occasionally, and other times not at all. Battery life not as advertised. It’s ultimately not what i was expecting, but serviceable.

Falls short of the hype. Negatives: I have strong wifi. I only use my Eufy 2C Pro-Cam kit plus 1 added cam, cell phone, %26 TV media streaming device. So Eufy gets the lion’s share of wifi. Yet, the motion detector misses deliveries made to my porch a few feet in front of the cam %26 never clocks my USPS woman. It took awhile to figure out that when the app’s cache hits 35 MB, the cameras stop performing. This is daily. I also have to restart the Home Base regularly, at least weekly. Those actions don’t resolve the disappointing camera motion detection range (not to be confused with the range of view, which is GREAT) %26 the unreliable recording. The positives are that I LOVE local storage! Overall, Eufy is a good, affordable product. I doubt the edge on motion detection range %26 recording capabilities of products from competitors outweigh the pros offered by Eufy. I hope to see Anker iron out these issues because I don’t want to have to replace my Eufy cams.

Fantastic cameras. I am transitioning the security system from Ring and Blink and could not be more impressed by the performance and quality these cameras provide, especially when combined with Home Base 3.
They are at least on par, if not better, with RING and considerably superior to anything Blink

Was great while it lasted. Bought a two pack on Hsn of the Eufy solo cam s220. Purchased on 4/22/24 with 30 days to try it. It is 5/26/24 today and both cameras say offline as of this morning. I’ve tried all day to reconnect and not one thing has worked. I even removed them and deleted the app and started all over, nothing works. Was fantastic for the first month but now it’s junk I can not return now.

This is the one. If you’re looking for the easiest, high quality, and the best price, this is the one. I ordered 3 of them and all you do is download the app, synchronize each camera to the app, and they’re all right there on screen. Easier than I ever imagined.

Security S220 SoloCam, Solar Security Camera. The Anker eufy Security S220 SoloCam, Solar Security Camera, Wireless Outdoor Camera, 2K Resolution. was delievered 2 days ago and i also purchased the installer fee of 99 dollars. I have not heard from anyone to come and install it. Could you check into it for me ?

Eufy is definitely the direction to go with for security. They are a terrific brand. Have 4 of these around the farm. It’s currently snowing and 4° but the batteries are still 100% thanks to the built in solar panel. Highly recommend!!

Good camera. The app is just ok. Video quality is great. Sound quality is way better than any other camera I’ve had. The software could definitely be better. The app is ok, definitely not as feature rich as Wyze and the notifications don’t seem to come in real time. The smart detection also isn’t as good as Wyze in my opinion. Built in solar panel is a nice feature and seems to work well.
