Unmatched Radio Experience: The Best I’ve Had! Wow – this Atoto Head Unit is awesome! I have tried a lot of different apple car radio before, but this is by far the best. The picture and sound quality is incredible for the price, plus the buttons are so seamless and it looks like it actually came with the car. I’m super impressed and thrilled with my purchase, and can’t wait to show it off at different car shows with our truck. Highly recommend it, don’t hesitate to buy it!

I know my review is long but its worth it. Yes you could go spend $600 on a nice head unit with all the bells and whistles. But if that was the case you wouldn’t be looking at this. If your like me and cant justify spending $600 on a head unit to listen to music on going to and from work. Then this is the best unit you can buy. Like anything Walmart sells you might get a dud but mine was perfect right out the box. Pay attention to the install manual and wire colors as yours may vary on your vehicles harness kit. I installed this on my commuter car ( 2009 Mini Cooper) and it fit perfectly. The car is super small and to no surprise so is the head unit compartment. The radio fit perfectly with the after market harness behind it. So if your tight on space and don’t listen to CD’s anymore then go with this unit. The Android Auto works perfectly and love the layout with my GPS on the left and Spotify on the right. The google assistant works better on the radio then on my phone! Also the I like how the background has multiple wallpapers you can set and you can turn off the internal AMP. Overall the had unit feels like a $300 unit as the touchscreen can have a delay when trying to navigate. But this is minimal and other features make up for this. For the Price you really can’t go wrong with this unit. PRO TIP!! Install the GPS antenna as it helps with the android auto and apple car play. I installed mine on the dash by the bottom of the windshield and it works perfectly. It is also not that noticeable and looks like its part of the car. I do suggest running dedicated power from battery or fuse box to the yellow wire on this unit and not to the harness. Most vehicles do not have constant power to the radio. This will solve the issue with the date and time not being stored or EQ settings resetting. I have installed plenty of radios in the 18 yrs I have been tinkering on cars for and just like all the others its super simple to install as long as you pay attention. Also if you are installing a aftermarket amp for the speakers make sure to ground the radio to the car and not the harness. Also use higher quality RCA cables this will eliminate or reduce a ground loop issue. Some people leave reviews to complain about how they installed it wrong and now it doesn’t work. Others leave reviews because of incentives, I leave reviews to help people like me get the info they actually care about. Plus I only write reviews when I feel its necessary and not for promotions.

Great radio! Some complain about loosing connection with their iPhone but the problem is in Apple Car Play not the radio. My only complaint is at its lowest setting on a dark hi way the screen is too bright and you can’t just dim the screen completely like my other radio. Maybe they’ll do a firmware update and correct that. (Please)

excellent. this is my third touchscreen in 3 months. i love it. the android auto is great. my first i didn’t know what i was looking for so bought a badic touchscreen and it sucked. the second was a higher name brand that didn’t do as advertised. this one everything i need. my job requires GPS this one delivered. no cords required to hook up. just start my car and its connected. i love it

nothing fancy… does what it says. it’s been a good replacement radio so far. it did freeze up a couple of times and i had to reset it once but no problems since. the volume knob is handy but feels fragile. calls work well and it hears me say “hey Google ” every time.

Every unit is defective. As many people have already said, this unit is defective from the factory. It will not stay connected to any iPhone or Android device, wired or wireless, for more than twenty minutes or so. I have contacted Dual Support and their recommendation – connecting it directly to the car’s battery – did not solve the issue. Dual is refusing to honor their warranty and Walmart will not take it back since it is a manufacturer defect.

Great radio. This is my 2nd radio, I have them in both my vehicles now one being a 1998 and one being a 2015 and it works great in both. Very easy to install, very easy to operate, overall best aftermarket radio option I’ve found.

Radio looks nice, screen works well. Puts out a decent amount of power, makes the speakers sound alright. Overall, it’s ok. It has one major flaw though… randomly restarts over, and over, no matter what. I have pulled the radio out and re-soldered every connection. I have made sure the wire harness is properly seating into the radio. The firmware is up to date. It has to be something physically wrong with the radio, or the software sucks so bad it randomly restarts. If the restarts didn’t happen it would be a great radio. Very peculiar though because there have been multiple days of 0 issues, then some days it restarts every 1-2 minutes and doesn’t stop. It’s really annoying.

Grab one, you will be happy. I have to say I was skeptical but this thing works better than the entertainment system in our brand new Wagoneer! I can really only speak about the android auto side of things but man it connects automatically wirelessly every time! Haven’t been through a hot summer yet but so far absolutely zero issues with the install in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. Maybe Jeep needs to just install these in the wagoneers, because that stock system is terrible compared to this less than $100 system. Install was a breeze. Got a 2 DIN panel for my wrangler, which came with wiring harness that plugged directly into the stock radio plugs. Those harnesses both had the exact same wire colors so figuring out the connections was a cinch. I chose to use heat shrink connectors with built in solder which also worked great to finish the job nice and neat! I don’t have a picture but may update this review if I can remember it ended up fitting great!

The installation instructions were straightforward, and everything functions well. The sound quality is impressive, and the radio responds quickly. However, I have a couple of issues: there are no onboard digital crossover options, and after all the effort I put into running the wiring under my frame rails, the backup camera wouldn’t activate no matter what I tried. I really like how it displays the car logo when I insert the key and connects to my phone instantly, but it often starts playing music automatically, which means I have to pause it manually. The screen is sharp and clear, and it meets my requirement of having a physical volume knob. I run subwoofers, and tapping a button isn’t sufficient when cruising through neighborhoods; it’s great to be able to just turn the volume down with this radio. The preamps work well, and if you’re using an amplifier and external crossovers, this radio holds its own against a top-tier Kenwood. Unlike Kenwood, which has internal crossover options, I couldn’t find a way to set them up with this radio using the provided software. A firmware update could potentially fix that. To install the boot logo, you need to email the company with your details, and they’ll send you a file within a day. I haven’t managed to install the boot logo yet because you need an 8-32 GB USB drive, and the smallest I could find locally is 64 GB. The biggest overall drawback is the microphone. There’s no option for an external mic, and the built-in one barely works; Siri struggles to understand me unless the truck is off, windows up, and people say I sound like I’m underwater. Overall, I’m particular about audio quality and reliability—I don’t want to wait long for a screen to load. For this price point, this radio exceeds my expectations, and I’m quite pleased with my purchase.

I was looking to update my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, and I found this product to be an excellent value. The installation was clean and straightforward (check out the pictures). It wirelessly connects to my iPhone, allowing me to access Google Maps, Podcasts, Waze, Audible, iMessage, Apple Music, and much more! The phone audio and Siri function flawlessly with the built-in microphone, eliminating the need for any additional mic cables. The backup camera isn’t the highest resolution, but it does the job well, with only a slight 2-second delay before the video appears when I shift into reverse.
I reached out to support because the documentation mentioned they would provide the latest software/firmware and customize the boot screen. The update instructions were easy to follow, with both written guides and YouTube videos available. I opted for the Chevrolet logo (see pictures), but I believe you can request any image you provide. Although support is based in Asia, resulting in a 12-hour response time, I consistently received replies in my inbox the next morning. I’m really impressed with their customer service.

I installed this unit in my 2007 Envoy using a Metra interface harness and dash kit, and it fits perfectly. Once connected to either Android or Apple devices, it’s incredibly user-friendly and establishes a Bluetooth connection quickly after startup. I love that the interface allows the unit to automatically dim and brighten with the headlights, something I hadn’t experienced with previous radios. The controls on the driver’s side make it convenient to operate while driving, and the overall design of the program is impressive—navigating through the features is a breeze.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get the steering wheel controls to work, which I believe is an issue with the interface. However, this is a quality unit at an excellent price. I reached out to customize the boot logo and background, which was straightforward, but it would be nice if there were preset logos and an option for users to change the background themselves to avoid the extra step of contacting customer support. I also purchased a 2-year warranty, which I do for all major electronics.
The unit has a slim design, so it fits well in the back, providing ample space for the wires—especially important for GM vehicles. It’s a fantastic radio, particularly for those who enjoy tuning the EQ for optimal sound quality. Be aware that it can be quite loud even at low volume settings, and if you have factory paper speakers, you might want to consider upgrading them; I may have inadvertently blown two speakers!

I installed this unit in my 2012 Ford Fiesta hatchback, and the installation was quick and straightforward. The rearview backup camera provides excellent picture quality, and the audio performance is impressive. The wireless Android Auto connects seamlessly and operates smoothly.
