The camera has been excellent up to this point. It effectively alerts me on iOS with a thumbnail in the push notifications. The video quality is quite impressive as well. It’s important to mention that it needs to be mounted on the wall with two screws. I’m eager for HomeKit/HSV compatibility.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t use it because we realized we couldn’t shield it from prolonged direct sunlight. As a result, we had to return it, but the return process was hassle-free.

I never thought I would need a camera doorbell until some neighborhood kids started bullying my child and trespassing on my property. Now, with this and a couple of Eufy cameras, I can confront them when I’m not home and document their trespassing. Eufy also saved me from a nightmare with an Amazon delivery driver who backed into my garage, causing significant damage to the brick and gutters, then just drove off. Without these cameras, I would have had no proof of who was responsible and would have faced thousands of dollars in repairs. I highly recommend this product; I’ll never go without Eufy securing my home again.

Love these cameras and couldn’t beat the price! I love the view the sound and the fact you can zoom I have one on my front and back and I can zoom all the way to back yard to see my Rottweiler! And back building! The night vision is awesome it picked up the neighbors dog digging up a mole at night now we know why there are random holes in yard!

Good but could use many improvements. The video is clear, and I like that there is SD storage. My mechanical chime (16V 10VA) does work with it after finding the alternative wiring instructions.
The reasons why I gave 3 stars:
I had to search for troubleshooting bc my mechanical bell didn’t work with the instructions given in the app. This isn’t secured to the base with screws – anyone can easily pull this off the base without tools. The SD card slot is on the side – this should be on the back so the only way it can be removed is by taking the unit off the wall. I had to purchase a 3rd party plate to cover the hole from the previous round doorbell hole bc the unit is skinny (much skinnier than the previous video bell I had that did cover the hole).

I switched all of my cams to Wyze Cams. It is as advertised. The view is very wide, but I’m not as tall as I’d liked. Colors are precise, as I have a dark blue car and with my 6500k light .

Doorbell camera. I never do reviews really but this was a great experience. To start off…The device was super easy to set up once I realized I had my Wi-Fi setting incorrect in n my end then changed it to the 2.4 instead of the 5G it went so smooth. Customer service was amazing. Super helpful and very patient. Good quality camera with quality video. All around great experience and highly recommend this product!

Not working well with my original doorbell. I called support and they tried to help me but they could not get it to work with the video doorbell, my original chime in the house. I called a friend and he came and we were able to get it to work by disconnecting the video doorbell accessory that came with the doorbell that is supposed to hook to the chime. I don’t know if this is properly hooked up but it does work. Support was unable to help me. I wish they had a separate chime that worked with the V2 doorbell but they do not, only with the older versions I don’t know why. I also owned many Wyze devices and I have to say that I’m very happy with those devices.

Great Product. Great product. Though at first the charge was depleting quickly, after 2 days, it started behaving normally, and guess what? I haven’t charged it for a month! The product is slick and mine sits outdoors in direct sun/rain, so far no problem. Installation is pretty easy too.

Wouldn’t Purchase Again! The doorbell took an initial charge and wouldn’t charge again. I’ve changed usb plug adapters, changed plugs, etcetera to no avail. Also have not been able to get any help from support! The worse thing is that I just paid in advance for a one year subscription. I was under the impression that I wouldn’t need one, but without it the doorbell doesn’t work as a video doorbell. A total waste of money!

Easy setup. Battery appears to have a long life. I charged it two days ago and has been in continuous use since I charged, and the battery monitor still shows 100%. I highly recommend this one. Good low cost alternative to higher priced versions that did not work as well as this one

Great doorbell cam! This is a great product that easily lets me see who is at my door. I like how it records 24/7 instead of just motion clips like its competitors do. Product is easy to use and to add to my existing camera groups. The camera does turn off occasionally but I believe it may be a problem on my end with the wiring.

Wyze Doorbell V2 with CAM Plus missed event. I’m a bit disappointed in Wyze. I pay for the Wyze Services subscriptions for Cam Plus. Thieves were checking door handles and for some reason my Doorbell didn’t record the event to CAM Plus. I’ve noticed some of my other CAMs don’t get all events recorded on CAM Plus so I installed an SD card and have the Doorbell continuously recording. Hopefully I will get a good picture of the guy next time.

Good resolution pictures,. I like the product, you need a drill for the installation, download the app. and it is ready. I learn how to delete the daily short videos in YouTube and would recommend to get a sd memory card . I am happy I am able to see people knocking at my door, from work.

camera number 6. I highly recommend. we went through the Roku camera and like six others trying to find a decent one. and either the price was too high and they were too difficult to install or we would get it and the monthly subscription would cost more than the actual camera would. but this was super easy to install. I would recommend getting some double-sided because that’s what we had to do. because our door where our front door is it’s too slim to drill the screws in. but even if that’s the case you can throw some double-sided tape on there and sticky anywhere and it works. the monthly subscription ain’t weighs a month. the picture is super clear. and unlike all of the other ones to include the Roku camera. it actually notifies you when somebody is at your door. it also has AI intelligence which lets you list all of your family members by picture. and the camera recognizes each individual family member. which none of the other cameras had. it also has different chimes that you can use. the only thing that either it doesn’t have or I haven’t figured out how to use yet is to extend how long the video clips that it records are. but regardless it’s still a really good camera for the price and you really can’t beat that. so I would highly highly recommend. cuz I obliterated my doorbell with the doorbell camera for Roku. it was a piece of junk and Walmart didn’t want to refund me my money.
