Very Nice. First, I wanted to mention that I’m a blind person so I will be describing the purchase, set up , and use of this robot without sight. I have a little bit of vision, enough to see light and dark and some objects but I can’t read print or see most colors. I decided to go with the plus version of the X1 since mopping really wasn’t a big priority for me, I do have all hard floors but don’t have any pets and I usually don’t have issues with stains on my floor. Also I have heard that the stations for the turbo and omni models are quite large. I did require sighted help to purchase the robot on the Ecovacs web site. Since I can’t read the computer screen I use a screen reader which allows a person to read and interact with the computer using speech. On the last page of the ordering process, there is a check box that you need to select to agree to the terms before clicking the “place order” button. I was not able to check the option and had to get sighted help for this. I have notified Ecovacs about this issue and hopefully this is something that they will resolve with their site. After taking everything out of the box, I was able to identify everything by touch. I do have a small robot vacuum collection, this is my ninth robot so I’m familiar with how they work and the set up process. This robot has two side brushes and they are different colors. I’m pretty sure I installed them correctly, I had enough vision to tell that one brush was lighter than the other one, and I noticed the same thing on the robot so I matched them up that way, however, someone who has no vision at all could definitely have a problem. From what I can tell, it would have been possible to install the brushes in the wrong place, I’m not sure if this would cause a major problem but I would suggest that Ecovacs change this so it’s only possible to install the brush in the correct place, unless reversing them would not really cause a problem, both of my side brushes are definitely spinning so I’m assuming it’s fine. I use an iphone and it has a built in screen reader called Voiceover that allows a blind person to use the touch screen without seeing it. Depending on how an application is developed, it may or may not read well. The Ecovacs home app works well with Voiceover. I didn’t bother trying to scan the bar code, I just opened the app store and downloaded the app that way. I already had an account that I created when I purchased the robot and I was able to log in to this account in the app. I did run in to either a bug or a design flaw when trying to connect the X1 Plus to my network, I’m not sure if this is a hardware issue or if it can be corrected in software but at first the robot could not find my network. It turns out that the robot will not work if the network is hidden, that is, the router does not broadcast the network name. I had my network set as hidden for added security but I had to change this in order for the robot to connect to my network, none of my other devices have this issue. Once I changed my router to broadcast the network name the rest of the set up worked fine. I had no problem changing the robot settings in the app, I prefer to use the maximum power the robot has, if the power is available, why not use it for a better clean? I’m not sure if Ecovacs thought of this but the Yiko voice assistant might be very useful for someone who has a disability related to motor skills which could prevent them from holding or using a mobile device to run the app. Once the robot is set up, the voice assistant can be used to access most of the robot features. In conclusion, I would say this is a great robot, I was able to set it up without any sighted help, hopefully the issue I mentioned with the web site can be addressed and if possible, fix the issue so the robot works with hidden wi-fi networks. The robot cleans really well and it’s a robot that I would definitely recommend.

5 star Robot Vacuum. I have 3 cats and a 3 story home. This vacuum is a life saver in that every single day when I get home my carpets and hard wood floors are completely spotless. The self emptying station is an incredible add in that it makes the vacuum completely self sufficient and it only needs to be emptied every 3 months or so. I highly recommend this to anyone with pets or a busy work/home life!

Outstanding Performing. One of the things I love about Deebot is that it is a vacuum that includes all the technology without costing a fortune. The suction power is great especially for pet owners like me. Before having Deebot I had to manually vacuum every single day. Now, I can sit back and relax because Deebot is doing all the hard work. My favorite feature is that unlike other vacuums, there is minimal noise, so you won’t even notice that it is on. I would definitely recommend it, a must have in every home!

I cannot explain how amazing this thing is! Wow. It’s a mop, it’s a vacuum. It’s beyond better than the price.

From the way it was packaged, the way it’s set up, the way it’s made, the parts that go into it— It’s everything it says it is! Nothing about it is cheap. Im SO impressed. I’ve had two other robot vacuums and this is by far my favorite.

Update software before use. So out of packaging it sucked well and got everything from hardwood to rugs and carpet. “Large home”

It actively adjust suction and speed of the head to what obstacles it has. It also gets the edges first and then do straight lines”different directions ever day”.

It does map and I’m able to set barrers and set sections.

*also warning* this thing can hop over small barriers like my baby gate. “Use map to rectify the room if needed.

I wouldn’t recommend because customer service good. I bought this product in hopes for something convenient since I have a toddler. It has given me nothing but issues for the two months that I’ve owned it.
Originally, I reached out to them to inform them that the schedule vacuum time wasn’t working and it would randomly start at times that it wasn’t scheduled. They informed me that they are having issues with that and hoped to fix it and didn’t have an estimate. That not even the bad part. The vacuum would start and then completely shut off mid cycle and completely remove from the app and then have to go through the 30 minute process to get it to connect. Some days it would randomly stop connecting to the wifi. Which my wifi was working fine. Then it stopped emptying into the trash bin part and it kept popping up with an error that I needed to replace the bag even though the bag was new. I’ve contacted them 4 times. They finally decided that I have to ship it into them to fix. I’m sorry but a vacuum should not be sent into be fixed after only owning it for two months. They refused to allow me to ship this one back to get a new one.
I generally think I got a lemon, and customer service sucks.

instead of emptying dust unto the dust bin, it emptied the dirty water from mopping into the dust bin, ruining it.

Unbelievable value! This little vacuum wasn’t on my list of vacuums to look at. I was ready to spend $400-$600 but was concerned my dogs would destroy it. My nephew owns thjs and said I should try it. I got it on sale for $139. I figured if it sucked(or didn’t suck) I wasn’t out much. We’ve had this sense July and it has been amazing! The app is great, it does everything we need it to do, and it hasn’t given us any issues so far. I would highly recommend. I’d buy a second one tbh

Great vacuum but looses schedule time sometimes. Love how I can set up a schedule for cleaning and block off the kids room so it doesn’t run into toys that are never in the same place.

Transitions from hardwood to low carpet great. Goes over rugs with ease. Have not tried on longer carpet.
Auto dumping of trash bin is very effective.
Dislike would be that it looses the timing a lot. Looses the day of the week or skips cleaning. May have to do with spotty internet but did also see other comments having same issues.

Best mopping period. It’s mopping capabilities are unmatched by any other robot vacuum. Also decent with vacuuming. Highly recommended!

not worth the money, horrible customer service! the product itself is probably a 3 star for the amount of money i paid for ($1500). for this product to work well you have to make sure any small hard trash is out of the way. there are was a part of the ziptie i left on the floor and damaged the rubber on the inside of the vacuum. ALSO, it managed to get itself stuck under the dishwasher on the first day and scratched a good portion of the top. this didnt affect the operation of the vacuum and i was willing to live with it but Eufy contacted me and said they would replace the vacuum. so i shipped the vacuum to only get a partial vacuum that i could not use. Eufy didnt specify that i had to take the old vacuum apart and keep the good parts?? to improve my experience they said they will replace the whole thing (vacuum%26station) but after 3-4 months Eufy/anker was not able to successfully ship another complete product to me here in Alaska. they suggested i just get a refund, so i had to find a box big enough to ship the product back and when i finally found a box, i get told by USPS that shipping label provided doesnt cover the gigantic box. by the way, I asked eufy if that shipping label was good before going to USPS. this whole situation is beyond frustrating and has already taken a lot of my personal time. maybe i’ll get my money back? who knows at this point. but eufy customer service has to get it together.

I am extremely pleased with my Ultenic MC1 Robot Vacuum Cleaner. It cleans my floors exceptionally well, and the mopping feature is a fantastic bonus. It does pretty well. I haven’t figured out how to work the remote so you can get behind doors. It miss conners sometimes and if the brush hits a cord, it will come off. Hungry
