Perfect. The set up is so easy on the camera. The instructions are very detailed and have some troubleshooting information if you need them too. The bracket can be put at any angle that you need it to be. The swivel is smooth and quiet and the picture quality is great. I’ll be using this as a security camera and I’m pretty excited that I was able to find one at the quality for the price.

I previously owned a Eufy Spaceview camera and baby monitor. With the addition of our second child, we needed a new camera, so I decided to upgrade. I had read about some challenges with adding a second monitor. While the process isn’t completely seamless, it was quite straightforward for me. I followed the video instructions on the Eufy site to update the firmware for both the monitor and camera, and once I did that, I was able to pair them in just seconds.

This is more of a first impression than a complete review since I haven’t had much time to use it, and our baby isn’t here yet, which limits my testing. I’ll provide an update after more usage. However, with no other reviews available, I thought sharing some insights might be helpful for others considering this product.
Please note: This does NOT include a viewing monitor; your phone/tablet/device acts as the monitor. It claims to notify you of sounds (like crying), temperature changes, etc., so you’ll know when to check the feed. Keep in mind that if you switch away from the app, you won’t be able to see or hear anything, although it does record everything onto a 32GB SD card included with the device. Here are my initial impressions:
Camera Quality
I was pleasantly surprised! The camera quality is significantly better than any other baby monitor I’ve used. The image is sharp and crystal clear, with only a minor delay (about half a second). It operates at 15fps. I haven’t tested the night vision yet, but given how well it performed in low light during my initial testing, I expect it to be equally sharp and clear.
Temperature Sensor
It works well. When activated, it overlays the room temperature on the video feed, and you can set alerts for when the temperature goes outside a specified range (too cold or too hot).
Sound Alerts
The audio quality is clear and loud enough through my phone’s speakers. I noticed they replaced the feature description about alerting for baby cries with one about alerting for loud noises. This might indicate that it struggles to differentiate between cries and other sounds, or they wanted to avoid liability for failing to detect a cry amidst background noise.
Surprise Bonus, Game-Changing Feature
This feature isn’t mentioned in the product description or quick start guide. In the app, you can set it up specifically for your baby by creating a profile where you input their birthdate or due date, weight, and skin tone. Why skin tone? The app states that ‘Infrared sensors detect your baby’s heart rate and blood oxygen levels. This setting may need adjustment for different skin tones.’ For the price of this monitor, this feature makes it 100% worth it compared to others that include their own monitor, assuming it works as intended. I won’t know for sure until our baby arrives, but I’m really excited about this feature, especially considering the concern of SIDS. Any alert that can help prevent a tragedy is invaluable. Fingers crossed it works well!
Setup
The setup process was generally intuitive and easy. The only unclear aspect was that it could only be paired with one account. However, I quickly discovered a sharing option that allows full-featured access to the camera for other users. I haven’t explored it enough to see if limited sharing options exist (e.g., restricted hours or no camera movement), but I might hesitate to grant full access even to grandparents due to privacy concerns while my wife is nursing. If limited viewing angles and time frames were possible, that would be a great bonus feature.
Firmware Update
I checked for a firmware update and was prompted to upgrade from (if I recall correctly) version 1.1.1.5 to 1.1.4.3. There was no documentation on what the update included, but it was quick and smooth. I didn’t notice any changes in the app before or after.
As I spend more time with it, I will update my thoughts and experiences.

The Best Eye In The Sky Money Can Buy. My favorite feature is that i can check the cam anywhere and i dont have to be connected to same wifi. I like the picture quality. The Way it rotates all the way around. Also the picture taking and record feature are amazing for the moments when im at work a way from family. A great multifunctional camera for baby or house. This multifunctional camera is very useful for every household whether you are alone or a big family, it can be used for babysitting or house security as it works very well.
With its high responsive sound and vision sensors that not only protects your child and house at the day but also works very well at the night too. (see attached photo).
The 360 degree motion with the mobile or any touch screen helps me to track my baby at the any corner of the room very well.
The two way voice and mic helps me to calm down my baby and help him fall asleep with my voice while I’m on the computer or at the kitchen.
It can be easily connected to wifi and so to the hotspot if wifi is not available.
I browsed a lot of cameras and after hours i found it and I am very glad and satisfied for the selection and recommend it to any parent or any one whom is concern about their baby or house.

Don’t buy. Literally just kept saying wrong password please reconfigure and then it says connecting when you don’t do anything and it’s been on repeat ever since it also has no buttons to reset it so you’re out of luck if it doesn’t work

Big hassle, might prove out. The set-up manual was little to no help. The QR scan is done by the icam app, not a regular phone app. I lost a good 10 minutes fighting with that.
Then I accidentally discovered that clicking on an image from an alert gives access to the panning buttons. And *then* I noticed the microphone icon at the bottom, which allows me to use the camera’s speaker (screenshot 2, I think).
I ran a few searches on the internet, assuming I’d find the above information somewhere and I didn’t, so that’s why I’m sharing it here.
The after-dark image is surprisingly good (screenshot 1, I believe).
